The post-event report from the Global Event Tech Summit 2025, held on 26-27 November at East Sussex National, is now available to download, detailing the industry’s shift from experimental digital tools to mature AI and data integration.
Key topics included the move away from single-event peaks toward continuous year-round engagement strategies, with organisers increasingly pressured to demonstrate ROI through pipeline generation and customer retention rather than attendance figures alone.
Keynote speaker Greg Williams, deputy global editor at Wired, discussed what he termed “The Great Acceleration”, examining how technologies are converging to create exponential value for the events sector.
Sessions covered tech stack management, with experts warning against “best-in-class chaos” where disparate systems create data silos. Forrester Research indicates only 20% of corporates have their main event management system deeply integrated with their CRM.
The programme explored personalisation at scale, post-event content monetisation and technology for exhibitions and brand activations. Speakers discussed AI’s role in automating processes, personalising attendee experiences and generating insights from event content.
