Exclusive Collection has appointed Joanne Taylor-Stagg as general manager at Pennyhill Park, overseeing a team of over 240 people and driving Pennyhill Park’s commitment to being a B Corp.
She started her career in hotels in Johannesburg as part of a graduate management programme and is known for transforming hotel culture and operations with her people-first approach, with a keen focus on mentoring and developing aspiring female talent.
Taylor-Stagg brings extensive experience from 5-star hotels including The Atheneum Hotel and Residences where she was awarded manager of the year at the 2021 Cateys, The Capital Hotel and The Trafalgar.
Exclusive Collection is a family-owned group of country house hotels, spas, a golf club, a cookery school, and a pub.
Pennyhill Park, one of its flagship properties, is renowned for its dining experiences, from the Michelin-starred Latymer to hyper-local dishes at Hillfield as well as its 45,000 sq. ft. spa.

Taylor-Stagg takes over from Graham Copeman who left Pennyhill Park after six years to pursue other opportunities.
