Hotel management platform Cloudbeds has partnered with customer relationship management company Klaviyo to automate guest communications and increase direct bookings.

The integration connects Cloudbeds’ property management system with Klaviyo’s marketing platform, allowing hoteliers to access real-time guest data including booking history and behaviour. Hotels can use this to send automated messages based on stay dates, promotions and repeat visits.

Sebastien Leitner, vice-president of partnerships at Cloudbeds, said: “This integration brings marketing and operations onto the same page. With Klaviyo, Cloudbeds’ users can turn every guest interaction into a revenue opportunity, driving smarter targeting, higher conversion, and more loyal guests.”

The integration installs with one click and requires no additional setup fees. Cloudbeds describes itself as an intelligent unified platform powering hotel growth, whilst Klaviyo operates as a B2C CRM provider.

Eddie O’Brien, senior vice-president of global partnerships and alliances at Klaviyo, said: “Hotels are sitting on rich data, they just need systems that put it to work. Cloudbeds and Klaviyo share a belief that great experiences start with great data. Together, we’re giving hotels the ability to turn insights into connections, and connections into lasting, profitable relationships.”

The partnership aims to help independent hotels compete with larger brands by providing sophisticated marketing tools whilst maintaining personalised guest experiences.
