The Clubhouse at Space House, a new events venue in London, has opened on the eighth floor of the Grade II listed brutalist building.
The space 2,300sqft space can accommodate 80 guests in theatre-style or be reconfigured for smaller gatherings. An additional 4,000sqft outdoor terrace wraps around the venue, increasing capacity to 100 guests for outdoor events.
The venue has achieved BREEAM Outstanding and Fitwel certifications. It operates zero-waste catering and works with small-batch producers focused on environmental impact.
Space House was completed in 1968 during the early years of space exploration. Seaforth Land led the recent redevelopment of the building.
The Clubhouse is operated by Bennett Hay, which manages several workplaces in London. The interiors reference the building’s original architecture.
“We’re excited to bring this iconic building to life as an events space in the heart of the capital’s cultural hub,” said Zoë Watts, managing director of Bennett Hay. “Significant work has gone into the development of The Clubhouse and the wider Space House.”
The venue offers views across London’s skyline and neighbouring tree-lined streets.
