Inflatable event structure specialist Evolution Dome has demonstrated how its Quiet Qube meeting space can work around structural obstacles after using the product to navigate a pillar at the Association of Event Venues (AEV) Conference 2025.

The company was allocated a footprint at ExCeL London that included a large structural pillar. Rather than requesting relocation, the team used the Quiet Qube’s flexible, roofless design and open entrance to wrap the unit around the pillar, creating a self-contained meeting space.

The solution allowed Evolution Dome to maximise its usable space without disrupting surrounding exhibitors or venue flow.

Ash Austin, managing director at Evolution Dome, said: “Working alongside the AEO team at the event, we were given the opportunity to present our new Quiet Qube as an added quiet meeting area for the conference. The Quiet Qube is designed to adapt to complex spatial requirements, whilst retaining its core purpose of delivering a reduced noise pop-up meeting space and enabling organisers to efficiently utilise every corner of an event space.”

The deployment highlights a practical solution for event organisers dealing with pillars and other architectural challenges in exhibition halls.
