Brand experience agency onepointfive has appointed Simon Walsh as global executive creative director as it expands internationally.

Walsh, who is based in Dubai, will lead the agency’s creative direction globally and spearhead growth of its Middle East operation. He joins from LightBlue, where he spent seven years and helped the agency win Campaign Middle East Creative Agency of the Year in 2022 and 2023, with a global shortlist in 2024. His client experience spans Formula One, UEFA, Amazon, Google, Nike, Adidas, Burberry and Dior across sport, technology, property and luxury.

At onepointfive, Walsh joins co-founders Rob Pryce and Joel Barsch in the senior leadership team. Alongside overseeing creative output, he will focus on growing the agency’s Middle East presence and integrating emerging technologies into its work.

Simon Walsh said: “From my first conversations with Rob and Joel, it was obvious that what they’ve built is incredibly special. There is a genuine belief in creative bravery, strong client relationships and building a culture where people are trusted to do their best work. After seven years in the Middle East, I’ve seen how this market constantly pushes you to think bigger. ‘World first’ and ‘never been done before’ aren’t ambitions here, they’re expectations. I’m excited to bring that mindset into the agency globally and help build something that can grow far beyond the region.”

Rob Pryce, co-founder of onepointfive, said: “Simon is one of those rare creative leaders who combines exceptional creative instincts with the ability to grow teams, cultures and businesses. He has played a key role in shaping one of the Middle East’s most respected agencies and has built an outstanding reputation in the process. Simon’s ambition, energy and global perspective make him a natural fit for onepointfive – he’ll play a pivotal role in shaping what comes next.”
