Laura Wilson is to join the VisitAberdeenshire leadership team in Scotland as head of convention bureau from Edinburgh-based Speakeasy Productions.
She replaces Millie Clarke, who moves into another role as head of tourism development at VisitAberdeenshire following a restructure.
In the past 12 months, Aberdeen Convention Bureau has worked with partners to submit 38 bids which, if successful, will bring £19m to the regional economy and over 79,000 bed nights.
Wilson said: “I’m pleased to be joining the VisitAberdeenshire team and look forward to promoting the region as a prime conference destination.”
