Conference News has officially opened submissions for the CN Agency Awards (CNAAs) 2026, marking the start of another edition celebrating the UK’s most innovative and impactful event agencies.

Now in its eighth year, the CNAAs recognise exceptional achievements across the events sector, championing the agencies, teams and individuals that have shaped the industry over the past 12 months. The 2026 ceremony will take place on Friday 20 March 2026 at The Brewery, London, bringing together more than 500 event professionals for an evening of recognition, entertainment and networking.

What’s new for 2026

The 2026 edition introduces several updates to further celebrate the breadth and quality of work delivered by event agencies, including:

  • A refreshed category line-up featuring new and updated awards that broaden the opportunities for recognition across specialist skills, sectors and emerging talent
  • Enhanced guidance and structured data fields to provide additional clarity and transparency for entrants and judges alike
  • A new public-facing summary section that allows shortlisted entries to be showcased more prominently across the industry

These updates continue the awards’ ongoing commitment to reflecting the creativity, expertise and evolution of the agency landscape.

2026 Theme: Country and Western

Each year, the CNAAs adopt a theme as a nod to the creativity of event agencies. Following recent themes such as Jungle (2025) and Bridgerton (2024), the 2026 ceremony will embrace a Country and Western concept.

Commenting on the reveal, Jonny Hammond, marketing manager at Conference News, said:
“Each year, our themes bring a sense of creativity and fun to the evening, and 2026 will be no different. The Country and Western theme celebrates the storytelling spirit at the heart of the events industry, while providing an exciting creative canvas for the night’s celebrations.”
