Speaker line up announced for Unique Venues Expo 2022

Unique Venues of Great Britain and partners have announced the speakers for its Unique Venues Expo 2022, a multi-city hybrid conference and exhibition for event organisers, taking place on 12 January 2022.

The event will be held simultaneously across: Manchester’s Chamber Space, Horizon Leeds, The Studio Birmingham, and London, where the venue is still to be revealed.

UV Expo 2022 will allow event organisers to attend in-person or virtually, and delegate experience is being led by headline sponsors Worldspan, on its Virt-Us Live platform.

Based on three principles: innovate, explore and collaborate, Unique Venues Expo 2022 aims to reimagine the future of the events industry, elevating performance, and combatting success.

Professor Damien Hughes, from The High-Performance Podcast (with Jake Humphrey), will host the first session around innovation. This session, sponsored by Clear Agency, will explore the success stories of The Delegate Wranglers’ Neil Thompson, diversity and inclusion practitioner Ashanti Bentil-Dhue, and The Business Narrative’s Sasha Frieze.

In the explore session, the exhibition will allow guests to engage with venues and event suppliers from across the UK, with an opportunity to network and connect. Guests can also explore the future of hybrid events, through a pre-recorded session delivered by session sponsors, Manchester Central.

The day will conclude with the collaborate session, sponsored by Selling Savvy, with interactive breakouts and a panel who will discuss how to build lucrative and authentic relationships between venues and event agents. This will feature BMA House’s Michael McGowan, Hotel Football’s Jess Southworth, Ace Bookings’ Joanne Wilson, and events personality and director Ellis Salsby.
