Pure Events appoints new business development director

Pure Events, a live events agency, has announced the appointment of Glenn Wallace as its new business development director.

Wallace has over 15 years of experience in the events industry, including sponsorship, digital media and event management.

He has also worked for the Global Systems Mobile Association (GSMA) and the Mobile World Congress (MWC). In his previous role, Wallace launched the Mobile World Live Digital Newsletter and TV Channel.

As MWC’s account director, he has worked with clients such as Amazon, Samsung, Oracle and IBM.

Wallace’s new role at Pure Events will require him to gain an understanding of existing client relationships and to explore the diversity of the offering in the business, in order to broaden the client base of the company.

Pure Events experienced a 20% growth in revenue during 2019 and the agency aims to achieve a further 20% growth in 2020.

Charlotte Gentry, CEO and founder, Pure Events, said: “This is a really exciting time for Pure Events. We are so excited by Glenn joining our exceptional team, due to his strategic acumen and breadth of experience.

“Our expertise in building creative and inspirational global conferences and incentives has really flourished over the past five years and as such our client base has shifted to working with global companies which really require us taking a strategic approach to their marketing strategies, which matches Glenn’s abilities extremely well.”
