Principal. Global Events has launched the XChange Board, a forward-thinking advisory group designed to bridge the gap between rising talent and senior leadership, creating a platform for fresh ideas, constructive challenge and actionable change.
The XChange Board joins Principal’s growing roster of initiatives that go beyond event delivery – including The Social Space, The Green Room, Coffee Club for Parents & Carers, Principal Pacers Run Club and the Schools Engagement Programme – offering employees new ways to pursue their passions and contribute to the business in meaningful ways or just simply connect over everyday life.
Theo Marlas, senior graphic designer at Principal. Global Events, who will be leading the initiative, said: “I am thrilled to be facilitating the XChange Board and to see such talented and passionate individuals come together. This programme is all about sharing ideas, driving innovation, and creating meaningful change. I can’t wait to see the impact we’ll make together.”
The XChange Board’s mission is threefold:
- Spark Innovation – encourage bold, industry-shaping ideas
- Create Inclusivity – provide a trusted, respectful environment for open discussion
- Empower Talent – give next-gen voices influence over long-term business strategy
Comprising of six members, the board will meet in an offsite setting, with agendas shaped collaboratively.
Discussion outcomes will be shared anonymously with senior leadership, with regular feedback provided to ensure ideas turn into outcome.
Anupa White, co founder and director said: “When we started Principal 31 years ago, the events landscape looked completely different. To stay relevant, we must be agile, forward-thinking, and create a space for every voice to be heard.”
She added: “The XChange Board is about more than conversation – it’s about building a direct pathway from idea to action. By pairing the fresh perspectives of emerging talent within our business with the experience of our senior leadership team, we’re ensuring that Principal’s future is shaped by a diversity of thought and a shared ambition to push boundaries for generations to come.”
