Make Events is on the move
Corporate event agency Make Events, whose clients include Thomas Cook, PUMA and AutoTrader, is to move its 16 staff to a new location in Wilmslow, Cheshire, near to Manchester Airport.
The agency will move its 16 Cheshire-based staff to House of Make, at Bollin House in May 2019.
Holly Moore, founder and MD of Make Events said: “We have kept lean for the last six years and stayed in an office space that wasn’t reflective of our brand but enabled us to grow in a considered and stable manner. We have now built up enough resilience to be able to give our team the ultimate experience as well as our customers.”
Make Events has undergone a structured 12-month recruitment plan, which is now complete, and has seen recruits join from the BBC, DRPG, Fresh and Concerto. The most recent appointment is Catherine Godsland, former MD of Out There Events. Godsland will be joining the business on a consultative basis to support their growth and account development plans, whilst also being a mentor to the team.
Toni Horsfield, the multi award winning interior designer has been appointed to facilitate the office move. Horsfield has transformed the offices of many great companies such as Halfords, Timpson and EE.
Horsfield said: “It is a joy to work with such a progressive brand. Holly’s vision for the space has been clear from the start and we have been able to really tailor the office to reflect the Make Events DNA; quotes and all! I think it is going to be an extremely creative workspace with some very happy colleagues.”
Moore added: “The coffee and champagne will always be in abundance with the odd event thrown in too; we welcome clients, suppliers and local businesses to pop in any time.”
