London Christmas Party Show confirms postponement
The London Christmas Party Show has been postponed to 28-29 July 2020 as a result of the impact of Covid-19. The event, run by Story Events, was originally planned to take place in May, and will still take place at Haberdasher's Hall in the City of London. The event exists to serve event managers tasked with booking and organising Christmas parties, for internally and externally.
Show director Clare Escario said the agency had given much consideration to the decision, having consulted with the event's 53 contracted exhibitors and sponsors, visitors and peers, as well as taking into account the latest government advice.
Founder director Sam Gill said: “Feedback from our clients on the agency side of our business has confirmed that if things progress as expected, we are in for a very busy Autumn/Winter event season. The latest indications from the scientific experts indicate to us that bars restaurants and events venues will most likely be open by July, so our new dates will allow our exhibitors to engage with agency and corporate buyers soon after budgets are released to begin planning events for the rest of the year.”
