Hosts Global to open first UK office

Hosts Global is opening its first UK sales office in collaboration with Representation Plus, targeting the leisure and MICE market in 2022.

Hosts Global was formed in 1958 and expanded its reach in 2011, and now represents over 250 destinations worldwide through its member DMCs (destination management companies) across Europe, North America, the Caribbean and Central America, in 28 different countries.

Through its global collection of DMCs, Hosts Global aims to offer full-service destination management in the most in-demand cities.

Kurt Paben, president of global sales and marketing, said: “Hosts Global is thrilled to announce our strategic partnership with Representation Plus. Alison and her team have a long-standing reputation for success in the UK market, which aligns with our mission to provide our global client base best in class in DMC services worldwide. Representation Plus will help us to closely connect with customers based in the UK, as a local point of contact and reference for exceptional hospitality services anywhere they travel.”

Alison Cryer, MD and founder, Representation Plus, commented: “We are honoured and delighted to be representing such a large variety of high quality and innovative DMCs globally to help the leisure and MICE markets reopen post-Covid. We look forward to partnering with the UK industry to generate business for Host Global members.”

Although the contract officially commences from 1 January 2022, Representation Plus and Hosts Global are planning activities and will be making contact with key accounts over the next few weeks.
