Mark Spivey, from Maritim Hotels will then reveal the hotel group’s comprehensive sustainability initiatives. This includes a dedicated consultant at each hotel, solar panels on roofs and efficient use of water.
Afterwards, HBAA venue members will then showcase their sustainability innovations and share their best practice.
Providing the buyer perspective, corporate and agency panellists will share their thoughts on what sustainability means to them and their organisation.
Keynote speaker, Laura Try, will then explain how sustainability has impacted and influenced her life choices, changing from a shopaholic beauty shop owner to a minimalist long-distance rower.
