The EVCOM Clarion Awards 2026 took place on 8 July at the London Stock Exchange, bringing together the brands, agencies, creatives and communicators.
Combining award-winning purpose-driven work with a timely discussion on misinformation and disinformation, the event showcased the power of film and live events to drive positive change while addressing some of the most pressing challenges facing the communications industry today.
Hosted by TV presenter Philippa Forrester and opened by EVCOM Executive Director Kai Duggal, the evening welcomed commissioners, producers, agencies and brands from across the sector to celebrate outstanding communications, creativity and impact.
At the heart of the event was a discussion on one of the biggest challenges facing communicators today:
Is misinformation and disinformation the biggest threat to purpose-led content? And what role should the corporate film and live events industries play in addressing it?
Hosted by Forrester, the panel featured Sian Hamlett of Hamlett Films, Urooj Kamran Azmi from Muse Studios, Dr Jason Lee from De Montfort University and Sam Wilson from Syntiro Associates and the EVCOM Board.
Kai Duggal, executive director of EVCOM, said: “This was one of the strongest Clarion Awards we’ve ever hosted. The quality of the work was exceptional, the room was full of energy, and the discussion on misinformation and disinformation highlighted what I genuinely believe is one of the defining communications challenges of our lifetime.”
The awards themselves recognised outstanding achievements across film and live events, celebrating organisations using communications to drive positive social, environmental and organisational impact.
