Edinburgh-based experiential design and event production collective YOURGB has rebranded as YourScene, marking 15 years in business for founder Gilly Bain.

Bain started the company in 2011 aged 25, from her grandmother’s spare room in North Berwick, using a £3,000 gift as seed funding. It has since grown into a multi-million-pound, 100% women-owned collective of 17 people delivering projects across the UK and internationally. Clients include Sony Music, Disney+, Netflix, Hendrick’s, NBCUniversal, Penguin Books, P&O Cruises, Johnson & Johnson and The R&A.

The new name retires the founder’s initials and aims to reflect the collective’s broader team and offering.

Three senior appointments accompany the rebrand: Amy Coultate as head of events, Kimberly Barr as head of client partnerships, and Louis Matthewman as senior experience designer and luxury events specialist, as the collective expands further into the luxury sector. YourScene is headquartered in Edinburgh with collaborators across Glasgow, London and New York.

The company holds B-Corp certification and Carbon Neutral accreditation via Carbon Footprint Ltd, and has developed its own Event Carbon Calculator. It is targeting Net Zero by 2050. Recent recognition includes the Female Founder’s Award 2026, mid-size business of the year at the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Awards and outstanding business of the year at the Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards.

Gilly Bain says: “Fifteen years felt like the right moment to evolve. What started in my grandma’s spare room with her £3,000 gift has grown into something far bigger than me. Today, we’re a team of 17 incredibly talented creatives, producers, strategists and technical specialists, delivering immersive experiences all over the world, and our name needed to reflect that.

“YourScene captures who we are today – a collective of people who care deeply about creating experiences that bring people together, make them feel something, and leave a lasting impression,” she adds.
