Creative communications group DRPG has announced two senior appointments in its live division.

James Khan has joined as head of creative for environments, while Brad Harris has been promoted to head of creative for events.

The appointments align with DRPG’s wider leadership structure, which includes creative heads across film, animation and digital.

Khan joins from Smyle, where he was creative lead. He has more than 25 years’ experience in museums, exhibitions and brand environments, having worked on both temporary and permanent installations for UK and global clients.

“Working for a B Corp was a big attraction,” Khan said. “Sustainability is close to my heart and a key challenge for the industry and our clients.”

Harris has been with DRPG for 15 years, progressing from technical roles to creative director before his latest promotion.

“There’s something electric about the build-up to a live or virtual event,” he said. “You’ve only got one chance to get it right – that pressure is what truly excites me.”

Richard Hingley, chief creative officer at DRPG, said: “The appointments of James and Brad form part of our wider strategy for growth and investment across the UK, Europe and the USA.”
