CN editor joins celebrity line-up for industry event
The Make Events Show has announced the line-up of speakers for its event, which includes CN editor Martin Fullard, who joins celebrities Denise Van Outen, Dr Ranj Singh and Vernon Kay.
The event will be co-hosted by CEO and founder Holly Moore will co-host the event with BBC’s Morning Live presenter Gethin Jones.
Holly Moore said: “We still find that clients can’t visualise what an online event could look like so, in true Make Events style we decided to practice what we preach and put on our own show. Just like our clients, we want to connect with our audience. An online event means we can reach a wider audience and they can really connect the brand and team’s personality and see what we’re all about.”
The event will be hosted from The Studio, a purpose built, 230sqm black box studio space with an LED screen backdrop.
It will feature an number of panels including an events industry panel with editor of Conference News Martin Fullard, virtual events producer Denise Mapp, and Frank Mckenna of Downtown in Business. Another panel will see Denise Van Outen will discuss staring in the only theatre show to remain open in London during the pandemic.
Rick Parfitt Jr, son of the late Rick Parfitt of Status Quo, will speak on how the live music industry will bounce back this year, whilst Dr Ranj of the BBC will be explaining the mental health pandemic that Covid-19 has left behind. Additionally, business entrepreneur and author of Taking Care of Business, Paul Cheetham, will talk about how Make Events has managed their financial position during the pandemic.
