American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) launched a new offering called ‘Business Travel Made Simple’, which, the agency claims, can provide ‘travel management in a box’ for companies looking to quickly deploy a UK-based managed travel programme.

Business Travel Made Simple is an all-in-one solution that includes the most popular American Express GBT products, technology, services and travel inventory as a bundle.

The package also includes travel buyer and manager guidance designed to ensure continuous programme success, and simplified, standardised pricing structure and contract.

Business Travel Made Simple promises business travellers cheaper rates and loyalty rewards.

Jason Geall, vice-president and regional general manager for Northern Europe at American Express GBT, said: “We’ve listened carefully to what customers say they need from their managed travel programme, including materials for driving awareness and adoption among corporate travellers. Having received hugely positive feedback from recent customer trials, we’re excited to officially launch Business Travel Made Simple into the UK marketplace. It does what it says on the box!”

Geall added: “Small and medium-sized companies are the backbone of the UK economy. Growth is vital for job creation, tax receipts and economic stability.
