Bond shakes up NEC Group as new director
NEC Group has appointed Claire Bond as its new Group HR Director.
Bond has been with the Group for five years, most recently championing an award-winning people development strategy as head of business HR and learning development.
During this time, she has taken a key role in introducing new talent programmes and reward schemes, catering for all levels of the business as well introducing an apprenticeship scheme.
Bond brings with her a wealth of industry experience across both stalwart and startup business. She cut her teeth at KPMG before taking on a key people-related role at the Co-Operative Group’s legal services arm.
She commented: “I’m excited to take on this role during a time of high growth in an already dynamic business.
“My priorities are to support our people at all stages of their careers with us, keep our robust employee engagement levels on their upward course, and contribute to our proven strategic plans as we further develop the Group.”
NEC group have successfully transitioned from public sector ownership with Birmingham City Council, to a £307m management buyout back by private equity specialists LDC in 2015.
