Aberdeen Football Club dons new menu with Sodexo
Aberdeen Football Club’s catering and events partner, Sodexo, has introduced a new casual dining concept for its weekday match hospitality for the 2019-20 football season. The new concept focuses on small plates using local ingredients and is inspired by comfort food recipes.
Pre-match menu highlights include breads with smashed avocado, chilli and pomegranate, toasted sub rolls with steak, chips, cheese and chill sauce, chimichurri crispy chicken tenders and mac and cheese with black truffle and parmesan.
Debra Lorimer, sales manager for Sodexo at Aberdeen Football Club, said: “We are always looking to offer hospitality guests something different when they come to the stadium to watch the team, so we are thrilled to unveil this new offering. Our talented team of chefs have worked hard on designing and creating this menu to give match goers a day to remember off the pitch as well as hopefully on it!”
Scott McGregor, director for Sodexo at Aberdeen Football Club, said: “We have seen an uplift in seasonal clients dining in the Aberdeen Standard Investment suite due to this new grazing offer. Clients like that they can come and graze from our stations and enjoy the dishes in the comfort of their own box.”
