The Convention Centre Dublin awarded ‘World’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre’

The Convention Centre Dublin (The CCD), Ireland’s international convention centre, has received the award for ‘World’s Leading Meetings & Conference Centre’ at the 26th annual World Travel Awards.

The World Travel Awards are voted for by travel and tourism professionals, business and leisure travel consumers worldwide.

The CCD was awarded the title at the World Gala Ceremony in Oman, on 28 November. This is the second time the venue has won the title.

Other competing venues included Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre - ADNEC, Berlin ExpoCenter City, Dubai World Trade Centre, ExCeL London, Qatar National Convention Centre, and Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The CCD has hosted over 1,850 events since its opening and has won 43 industry awards.
