Strategy, teams and stakeholders: what’s on at the Corporate Event Leaders Summit 2026

SHARE

Corporate event planning can be a surprisingly solitary discipline. In-house teams are often small, sit inside much larger organisations and answer to stakeholders who rarely see the full scope of what an event demands. The people best placed to understand those pressures are usually working for other companies.

The CN Corporate Event Leaders Summit 2026 exists to put those people in the same room. Taking place on 30 November and 1 December at Down Hall Hotel & Spa, it is a focused two-day experience built for senior in-house event leaders responsible for internal and external event programmes.

Free to attend for qualifying corporate event professionals, delegate places are limited and curated. Register here

A room of peers, not a sales floor

The summit’s value starts with who is in the room. Delegate places are limited and curated, so every conversation is with someone facing the same challenges: proving return on investment, managing internal expectations, doing more with leaner teams and keeping attendees engaged.

Delegates can speak openly about what is and isn’t working inside their organisations, without worrying about being quoted. The result is honest, peer-led conversation that is hard to find anywhere else in the calendar.

A programme shaped around the realities of the job

The content programme is practical by design, tackling the questions in-house leaders wrestle with day to day. Highlights include:

  • Have we got lost in strategy? A lively debate between two contrasting approaches, one built on setting, tracking and measuring a clear event strategy.
  • Understanding the workforce and delivering change. A case-study session with senior corporate event leaders from the CN Corporate 100.
  • Building a team: automating and not. Barış Onay, co-founder of Precision Communities, explores where automation helps and where human judgement still matters.
  • The Corporate Leaders’ Workshop: Tackling the Challenges of 2026. An interactive session where delegates work in sector-based groups on the issues they share.
  • What does progression look like in an insular department? A candid panel on career development within small in-house teams.
  • The Psychology of Getting Your Message Across. A behavioural expert on how people process information, and what that means for event communications.

Day two closes with roundtables, a chance to step away from the main stage and dig into the issues that matter most in small groups. Further speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Meetings and connections that last beyond the summit

Alongside the content, delegates take part in tailored, pre-arranged one-to-one meetings with a hand-picked group of suppliers and venues. Meetings are matched to each delegate’s priorities ahead of the event, so time is spent on conversations that are relevant to upcoming projects.

The format also leaves plenty of space for the informal moments that build lasting relationships. A drinks reception and dinner on the first evening, with overnight accommodation included for qualifying delegates, give peers the chance to continue the day’s discussions in a relaxed setting.

How to attend

The summit is free to attend for qualifying senior in-house corporate event planners. The Free Delegate Pass includes both days of content, five pre-arranged one-to-one meetings, networking, lunch, the evening reception and dinner, overnight accommodation and post-event session summaries.

For those who want the content without the meetings commitment, a Hosted Content Pass is available at £795 +VAT.

Places are limited and curated, so early registration is recommended.
