Live events company Ginger Owl Productions has released guidance to help event organisers understand what Martyn’s Law means for them.
In a new whitepaper, called Accreditation Systems & Martyn’s Law: Practical Considerations for the UK Events Sector, the company explains how to prepare for the coming changes.
The law received Royal Assent in April 2025, meaning the sector is now midway through a 24-month implementation period. Full government guidance, however, has not yet been published. Ginger Owl says the whitepaper aims to help organisers start preparing now, rather than waiting for the eventual release of official advice.
The whitepaper covers live events and festivals in the UK. It includes an overview of Martyn’s Law, the challenges organisers are likely to face, and guidance on how to implement the necessary changes. There are also suggestions on how to navigate risk and accountability.
