hotel republic, a leading MICE representation company in the UK, has added The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair to its portfolio.

Based in London, hotel republic acts as the UK sales office for several medium sized hotel chains and major independent stand-alone conference hotels and meeting venues.

The Lansdowne Club offers seventy-three bedrooms and five meeting rooms including a ballroom.

The Grade II* listed ballroom features an impressive gilded vaulted ceiling and minstrel galleries whilst offering generous floor space with unobstructed views.

Kai Schomann, hotel republic’s managing director, said: “Central London is one of our bestselling destinations and we are really pleased that we can represent The Lansdowne Club in Mayfair. Guests and conference planners can expect the highest standards and it is the perfect place for meetings, conferences, Christmas parties, incentives, and team-building events for up to 200 people.”

The Lansdowne Club CEO and Club secretary, David Herbert said: “MICE business is an extremely important market for our venue, and we like to develop strong business relationships with key players in the meeting industry.”

With a heritage dating back to 1763, Lansdowne House was re-imagined as a leading private Members’ Club in 1935, welcoming both men and women with equal status from the outset.
