VisitScotland Legends campaign shortlisted for ICCA Best Marketing Award 2018

Three leading ICCA member suppliers are set to compete live on 13 November to be named the 21st winner of the association’s Best Marketing Award.

VisitScotland Business Events has been announced as one of the three finalists for their campaign 'Scotland. Where ideas become legend.'

The Legends campaign highlights the reasons why event organisers should view Scotland as the perfect choice for meetings - its stellar academic credentials, pioneering spirit, history of innovation and its continuing drive to discover new ideas that create positive change through business events.

The other finalists for the ICCA Best Marketing Award are:

  • The Hague Convention Bureau: ‘Cyber Security Week 2017
  • Serbia Convention Bureau: ‘APIMONDIA 2021’

Rory Archibald, business development manager at VisitScotland Business Events said: “We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for the Best Marketing Award - this is fantastic recognition for the whole of Scotland. Business Events are crucial for supporting economic & social progress, supporting the growth of key sectors in Scotland and for profiling the country on a global stage.

"Together with Scotland’s cities, regions, universities, innovation centres, investment agencies and representatives bodies, we’ve transformed Scotland’s messaging to the international business events market.”

The BMA combines detailed scrutiny of each entry by a team of past winners and other marketing experts, with the voting input from hundreds of peers from around the world.

The winner will be announced during the Closing Ceremony.
