Meeting Professionals International (MPI) UK and Ireland, will ask the question, ‘Who will be the winners and losers in the meetings and events industry?’ at the association’s first education event of the New Year, 6-9pm, 22 January, at the London Stock Exchange.
MPI promises insights into business trends on a global and regional basis for 2013, as well as information about the key trends impacting the meetings industry in the coming year.
Chris Williamson, a leading economist from Markit, a company which produces global reports including the Purchasing Managers’ Index, will present insights gained from this index which tracks corporate spending patterns including the anticipated levels of marketing communications and event spend.
Michael Schuller, Vice-President of Europe for American Express Meetings & Events will also present and join a Q&A session moderated by broadcaster and presenter Matthew Davies.
