Alton Towers Resort appoints new Business Development Manager

Merlin Entertainments’ visitor attraction and event space, Alton Towers Resort, has appointed Ellie Jones as its Business Development Manager.
 
In the new role Jones will lead the resort’s sales effort and implement the segmented sales strategy currently in place to achieve revenue goals.
 
She has previously worked for event management agency Zibrant overseeing the business growth of several corporate client accounts. Jones most recently worked for the Principal Hayley Hotel Group as Business Development Manager.
 
Alton Towers Resort caters for meetings for 16 delegates, conferences for 500 and awards dinners for 400 in the Alton Towers Conference Centre. Its marquee events can cater for 3,000 or buy-outs for 5,000+ in the Alton Towers Theme Park.
