Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), the owner of the London sporting and hospitality space Lord’s Cricket Ground, has taken the decision to bring its hospitality services in house so it could deliver a “more personalised experience”.
Keith Prowse was the previous official hospitality provider for the cricket ground but has been appointed as the official sales agent for the grounds following MCC’s decision.
From the initial booking to post-match follow-up, organisers will work directly from those who know the venue best.
The Nursery Pavilion, overlooking the Ground’s practice area, will continue to represent the primary hospitality hub at the ground, while the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite packages will be enhanced to suit all hospitality requirements.
“With a rich history dating back nearly 200 years to 1814, Lord’s Cricket Ground is one of the oldest sporting venues in the world to offer guests corporate hospitality,” said MCC Assistant Secretary for Marketing and Catering, Jon Robinson. “To uphold this long-standing tradition, it is vital that guests feel truly at home when visiting us and this can best be achieved through a personalised and transparent approach.”
