Ellis Salsby acquires Right Location Corporate Services

Midlands-based booking agency Ellis Salsby has acquired Hampshire-based Right Location Corporate Services. The new structure will make for a stronger venue finding and conference management offer to its clients, says Ellis Salsby, Managing Director of Ellis Salsby.

“It made perfect sense. There is great synergy between the two companies and this is an exciting move as the two businesses become one,” Salsby, who is also Academy Chairman of the Hotel Booking Agents Association, adds.
 
“The two companies have built up strong reputations and have developed great expertise over many years. We intend to build on that and further enhance our strength in the sector,” Salsby says. “This is such a fast moving industry that it is vital to seize opportunities when they come along.”
 
Salsby founded his agency in Kidderminster in 1989 as a ‘one stop shop’ service for events including venue finding, event management, event accommodation, travel solutions and training administration.
 
Diane Slater set up Right Location in 1992. The agency offers venue finding and event accommodation services.
 
The acquisition will give Ellis Salsby an extensive client portfolio, varying from large blue chip organisations to associations, charities and small-to-medium businesses.
