The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) has released new simulation images of its expansion space, the Lennox Suite. The fully-populated simulations are the clearest illustrations yet of the new space in raked auditorium formation for 2,000 delegates and in arena mode for 1,400.
The images are designed to provide new insights into how the Lennox Suite’s moving floor system, the first of its kind in the global events industry, can be transformed in a fraction of the time required in conventional halls.
There is no temporary installation down time as the moving floor adopts the required staging plan using advanced stage lifting technology, leaving only the provisioning of seating between sessions or events.
Commenting on the new images EICC’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Louise Andrew said: “Selling something new demands that you give the customer the best possible illustration of what you can deliver ahead of time and these simulation images will help inform the discussions we are having now as we count down to opening next spring."
The marketing programme for EICC’s new event capability will include a monthly blog to be launched later this month.
EICC is wholly owned by The City of Edinburgh Council.
