Central London venue consortium, The Westminster Collection (TWC), has increased its membership by signing up the London Film Museum and The Rag, Army and Navy Club.
The London Film Museum Covent Garden (pictured) launched, following a £3.5m refurbishment and restoration earlier this year. Formerly the Flower Cellars building, the space is sited on Wellington Street, backing out onto the Covent Garden Piazza. It is designed with high-end fittings, lifts and disabled access.
Catering is also provided onsite and the venue has four event spaces spread over 1,400sqm and a capacity for 450 delegates.
The Army and Navy Club, referred to as The Rag, overlooks St James’s Square Gardens and Pall Mall. It is a period building home to an exclusive members club, predominantly serving former officers of the British and Commonwealth Armed Services.
The Rag offers over 5,000 members and corporates event spaces catering for up to 200 people.
“My goal is to bring awareness about the club and let people know they can now access it, which wasn’t the case for decades,” says Business Development Manager for The Rag, Lisa Guennifa.
TWC is also shortly due to release the London Venues Business Report 2012, which collates the findings of its annual venue performance survey conducted in partnership with Unique Venues of London and The Conference Bench.
