Event caterers Kudos, part of the Crown Group, has announced the appointment of two senior members of staff at the National Football Museum.
The appointments are part of the six-year multimillion pound contract to provide food and venue management services at the Manchester venue.
Franco Caroleo (General Manager) and Paul Riley (Executive Head Chef, pictured) will strengthen the team that will manage the venue’s cafe services, large events and banqueting portfolio, and launch its new restaurant, Kaleido.
Caroleo returns to Kudos after previously working at the business from 2002 until 2006. He will be responsible for the overall management of the food, drink and events offer at the museum.
The events space can host formal dining for 250 and receptions for 500. Riley has two AA Rosettes to his name and he will lead a team of 12 chefs.
Kudos MD, Jon Pryce, said: “We are pleased to welcome Franco and Paul to the National Football Museum. These two talented individuals brought a wealth of experience ahead of the recent launch, and will now help us offer food and event services of a quality that is expected at such a iconic and unique venue”
Kudos reports an annual turnover of £22m and operates at a diverse range of venues such as livery halls, sports stadia, conference and exhibition centres, banqueting venues, theatres and auditoriums.
