The International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) is to be the first association to use the new SpotMe app for its annual ICCA Research, Sales and Marketing Programme.
SpotMe’s core networking capabilities used to be facilitated with a proprietary SpotMe hardware device, which had to be picked up by all delegates upon registration for the event. The new SpotMe app builds upon past success and is still a networking tool, but on your own device.
The ICCA Research, Sales and Marketing Programme, taking place 13-16 June and bringing 132 delegates from 37 countries to Bregenz (Austria), will be the first event where delegates can use the app on their own smartphone. Delegates without a smartphone can borrow an iPod throughout the event to use the app.
“We are excited to take these first steps with our new app in the international association meetings industry together with ICCA, which has always excelled at using SpotMe to advance its meeting architecture,” says SpotMe’s Roger Meier.
