Take That Production Director to speak at Event Production Show

The Event Production Show, due to take place from 1-2 February 2012, has announced the line up for its Access Sessions 2012.
 
To be held in the Grand Hall at London Olympia, the Access Sessions will address event issues with the help of some of the industry’s most influential figures.
 
Take That Production Director, Chris Vaughan, will be detailing the logistics behind the band’s Progress tour at the show. Vaughan will be joined by key members of the production team that brought a spectacular stage show to 1.75m fans across UK and Europe.
 
Live Nation’s COO Music, John Probyn, will chair the Question Time panel which will include former Undertones frontman Feargal Sharkey, now CEO at UK Music; Tim Owen, Events, Filming and Contingency Planning Commissioner for Westminster City Council; and Clive Little, Director of Events and Programming at the Olympic Park Legacy Company.
 
Head of the Metropolitan Police Olympic and Paralympic Venues Planning Team, Stuart Cornish, will also be discussing the 2012 security operation.
 
The Access Sessions will be open to visitors to the UK Venue Show, showcasing the best of British venues and running co-currently with the Event Production Show at London Olympia.
 
Nic Howden, Access Sessions Organiser said: “The calibre of speakers at the sessions continues to excel itself and the panels will provide attendees with both thought leadership and inspiration.
 
“We have designed the sessions to be targeted but also varied, from the industry landscape in 2012 to the nuts and bolts of producing a live extravaganza.”
