London and Partners, the new official promotional agency for London representing tourism, foreign direct investment and higher education, has revealed its new executive team to report into interim CEO Danny Lopez.
The single agency, launched on 1 April 2011, replaces the old Visit London agency now in administration, as well as smaller agencies Think London and Study London.
The new executive structure has been confirmed as follows:
Commenting on the announcement, Danny Lopez, said: “I am delighted to confirm the appointment of the executive team for London and Partners, the make up of which reflects the business objectives of the new agency. The Executive, supported by their teams, can ensure that the excellent legacy of all three agencies is continued through London and Partners and that the capital remains the most popular place to visit, invest and study.”
Through the different business areas, London and Partners will be responsible for promoting London to key relevant domestic and international markets including USA, France, Germany, China, India, Spain and Italy. London and Partners will work closely with other London agencies, stakeholders, national promotional bodies and the public sector to represent all areas of business in London.
The Executive Directors have all been appointed from within London and Partners. The agency says this is to maintain continuity of expertise and knowledge from the previous agencies.
