Infotel Solutions’ Susanna Christie has been awarded the Hotel Booking Agents Association’s (HBAA) Tim Gasson Memorial Award for her outstanding contribution to the association throughout 2010.
Christie was recognised for “her dedication to the association and for her selfless commitment to arranging the HBAA’s keynote events” including the HBAA Annual Forum, the HBAA Golf Day and the HBAA Annual Dinner.
The award is named after former Chairman and founding member of the agency, Tim Gasson, who died in a car accident in 2007. The award is given annually in recognition of a member nominated by their peers for advancing the values of the HBAA and for commitment to progress.
“Susanna has given absolute dedication to providing the association with well-organised events, in particular she took a delayed honeymoon in 2008 after marrying James to look after the HBAA Annual Forum,” says out-going Chairman of the association. Stephen Usher. “Those that knew Tim will remember his extraordinary passion and drive and we are truly delighted to recognise Susanna for showing such qualities.”
