Reed Travel Exhibitions is to provide the seed funding for Maarten Vanneste’s ‘Project Meeting Architecture’ (PMA).
The funding is to underpin research of the most appropriate tools to be deployed before, during or after a meeting in order to improve the learning, networking and motivational objectives. RTE has signed up for a Gold sponsorship deal which will harness the EIBTM brand behind the project.
PMA will hold a first annual board meeting during EIBTM in Barcelona later this year and again be part of the show’s education programme.
“PMA is best described as the task of designing the content and format of meetings, in order to achieve the desired participant behaviour/response and thereby enhancing ROI,” says EIBTM show director, Graeme Barnett. “By supporting the project, we will see what is an extremely well thought out concept become a practical and very valuable working tool, for both academia and industry alike.”
Members of the PMA committee include the CEO of Event ROI Institute Sandnes in Norway, Elling Hamso; CEO of Vienna CVB Vienna in Austria, Christian Mutschlechner and President of MCI Geneva, Roger Tondeur.
