The Hotel Booking Agents Association announced its award winners last night, during its Annual Forum dinner at the Holiday Inn Stratford-on-Avon.
The awards, now in their third year, are designed to recognise excellence and the promotion of best practice in the hotel booking agency sector, said HBAA Chairman, Stephen Usher, who presented the winners in five categories.
“The awards help demonstrate the professionalism and the drive for raising service levels that we advocate as an organisation,” said Usher. “The quality and number of applications increase year on year with the benchmark clearly set for 2011. My congratulations go to all of the shortlisted organisations and of course to the winners.”
The HBAA Awards categories and winners 2010 are:
Best Demonstration of CSR:

Training and Development Award:

Promoting Excellence within the Industry:

Agent of the year (Small to medium agency with up to 25 employees)
Finalists: Trinity Conferences, First Choice Conference and Events, Absolute Corporate Events

Agent of the year (Large agency with over 26 employees)
Finalists: BSI, Expotel Hotel Reservations, Conference Care
