Venue marketing consortium, London City Selection, claims its decision to request accreditation through the Meeting Industry Association’s AIM scheme from members, has led to a flock of new member applications.
London City Selection Chairperson, Samme Allen, says summer has seen LCS grow, with new members including City Inn, Gibson Hall, the London Stock Exchange, Plaisterers Hall and One Moorgate Place.
“Venues are acknowledging the fact that accreditation ensures high standards across the selection and they clearly want to be a part of the City’s fastest growing marketing consortium,” says Allen, pointing out that by working together and referring leads, LCS has secured significant new business for the City.
“Competition and one-upmanship are a thing of the past - a successful future lies in our ability to collaborate and grow together.”
The London City Selection is a Barbican led initiative, and now embraces 20 members, including venues and hotels.
