The Convention Centre Dublin (CCD) has won the contract to host The European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology (ESPE) meeting in 2014, bringing over 2,500 international delegates to the city across four days.
The annual conference will include plenary lectures, symposia, meet-the-experts and interactive sessions, which will aim to highlight new data from the clinician, as well as to stimulate discussion of future research. An exhibition and poster sessions will also feature as part of this global event. The meeting will also aim to promote further collaboration among the sister societies through joint symposia.
CCD’s international sales director Catherine Newhall-Caiger says: “Now that the CCD is in place, Dublin is set to become a leading destination for business tourists as they attend prestigious world-class conferences such as ESPE.”
The new convention centre officially opens on 7 September.
