Square Meal, organiser of the Square Meal Venues and Events exhibition is to extend its opening hours, after pre-registration figures showed a 16 per cent increase compared with the same time last year.
Pre-registered visitors to the event, at Old Billingsgate 22-23 September, total 8,700 compared with 7,505 the same time last year.
Show director, Graham Hill, says: “We’re starting at 9.30am on day one to encourage visitors to come straight to the event rather than via their offices. An extra 30 minutes will also be added to the end of day two, taking the closing time to 4.30pm, allowing more time for both visitors and exhibitors to do business, not least because we had over 400 visitors arrive after 2.00pm on the Thursday last year.”
