The Grange St Paul’s Hotel in London has won the right to host the Chartered Institute of Marketing’s (CIM) Annual National Conference, 21 October 2010.
Held as a one-day event, the 2010 CIM conference will focus on four themes: marketing strategy, internal engagement, social media and digital customer relationship management. The content will be hosted by TV and radio current affairs presenter. Sarah Montague.
Speakers confirmed include professor Douglas McWilliams from the Centre for Economic Research, who will look at the key issues facing both the private and public sectors in Britain and the role marketing has in ensuring sustainable future growth. Allan Evans, partner at BDO LLP will demonstrate the role marketing has had in his organisation’s success and David Pullan, the chief marketing officer from Manchester City Football Club, will share his strategy for marketing through social media.
The conference is eligible for seven CPD hours in the Institute’s Chartered CPD Programme.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing will be celebrating its centenary in 2011.
