The Hilton London Kensington has launched a series of meeting break experiences with its new indoor picnic meeting break packages.
“We’ve brought the outdoors in,” says hotel GM Alison Palin. “The Atrium Lounge comes to life with real grass and colourful foliage. Guests attending meetings can take a break by relaxing on a hammock or swinging on a tear drop chair.”
Palin says guests can also walk barefoot on the grass: “Studies have shown that grassy areas affect people’s moods by creating feelings of serenity, thoughtfulness and happiness. We hope our conference and events guests will benefit from our tranquil surroundings and that this will positively impact on their attention span during meetings.”
The Garden stroll picnic and Garden break refresher packages also include a selection of picnic type food, including finger sandwiches, cupcakes, strawberries and real lemonade. The hotel has 14 meeting rooms and can cater for up to 370.
