The International Special Events Society (ISES) UK Chapter scooped three awards at the ISES Eventworld 2010.
The event, which was held in Baltimore on 5 - 7 August, incorporated the ISES Spirit of Excellence Awards which identifies quality across ISES Chapters worldwide. It takes into account membership retention, growth and communications.
Past ISES UK Chapter president, Zanine Adams, won the ‘Membership Award’. She and current president Richard Foulkes then shared the ‘Mettel Attitude’ gong, a joint award given to volunteers who performed to the highest standards in challenging times.
ISES UK director at large, Andy Callin, collected the ‘Volunteer Award’, which is given to someone who has gone above and beyond the call of duty over the past 12 months.
“We are thrilled to be recognised for these fantastic awards,” says Foulkes. “Our membership figures have grown 20 per cent this year and we believe this shows our credibility as a major player in the creative event marketing arena.”
