A new technology and business conference will run alongside PLASA 2010 on the final day of the Earls Court exhibition next month.
PLASA runs from 12 to 15 September and is a platform for the launch and promotion of new ideas for the event, entertainment and installation industries. The AVNetworks Conference is the second conference to co-locate with the exhibition this year. The PLASA International Rigging Conference will take place from 13 to 14 September.
“There are many technologies and protocols out there,” says editor of United Business Media’s Pro Sound News Europe, Dave Robinson, one of the show’s organisers. “And we’re going to be exploring the strengths and opportunities these different systems represent. And, of course, we’ll be tackling the rapidly-developing AVB standard and what it’s going to mean for the future of live events, the installation business and content delivery.”
