Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has launched a new research project in conjunction with research company Association Insights, to measure the business value of meetings.
The ‘Business Value of Meetings’ campaign was launched at MPI’s World Education Congress in Vancouver (25 July). The findings of the research are to be presented by MPI at The Americas Meetings and Events Exhibition (AIBTM), organised by Reed Travel Exhibitions, and to take place in Baltimore in June 2011.
“This research product will be a culmination of our extensive, multi-tiered approach to studying and understanding the appreciable business value of meetings,” says MPI vice-president of knowledge, Vicki Hawarden.
