Center Parcs has announced further investment to its Sherwood Forest estate in Nottinghamshire.
The group, which has a number of meeting spaces at its holiday villages across the UK, is to develop three luxury tree houses and is to invest in improvements to restyle existing accommodation, upgrading to Exclusive Lodges.
Due for completion in 2011, the two-storey tree houses will feature four bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and private balconies, an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, a separate games and entertainment den and a private hot tub.
“The exclusiveness of the new lodges and tree houses will make them appealing not only for leisure guests but also for corporate bookers,” says head of corporate sales, Ian Linley.
In the last three years alone, over £150m has been invested in the group’s properties.
The next phase of the accommodation upgrade will follow a similar suit at Longleat Forest in Wiltshire with four tree houses and is due for completion in April 2011.
