Zibrant’s Parnham to chair new HBAA Membership Committee

Event management agency Zibrant’s MD of Operations, Chris Parnham, has been appointed chairman of the Hotel Booking Agents Association’s (HBAA) newly-formed Memberships Committee.
The new role was created by the merger of the Membership (agents) and Partner (venues) committees. The association says for the first time the chairman will focus on delivering, in concert, the shared and specific objectives of each group.
“I have been looking for an opportunity to join the HBAA Executive Committee for some time, and this newly-created role is an ideal vehicle,” says Parnham. “I believe passionately that an association should deliver true value to its members, and marrying these two groups together allows us to focus more clearly on delivery of the individual and shared objectives of agents and venues.”
The HBAA represents the collective interest of the parties involved in the procurement and management of conference, meetings and accommodation in the UK and internationally.
